city map spacious kitchen
The hotel provided a city map upon arrival. I found it very helpful. the master bedroom in our cottage included exposed original beams and an iron fireplace. the kitchen was clean, spacious, and well-equipped.
i found the hotel to be a little noisy due to nearby traffic. even with the windows closed, i still had trouble sleeping.

the breakfast selection offered both cooked and continental options, catering to various tastes. the waitress i interacted with was very friendly and helpful. she accommodated my requests with nothing being too much trouble, she was super lovely.

an absolute GEM!
onsite parking short walk
my stay included easy parking directly on site. the hotel had a Short walk TO town, which i found convenient. i benefited from room service each morning and i thought the breakfast was cooked to perfection. the experience offered peacefulness.
the pillows were Very uncomfortable. they were like Puff balls and you couldnt deflate them. i found this affected my quality of sleep.

The EV charger reservation worked very well. The hotel provided a great breakfast, with a good variety. The location was a short walk to the city centre.
The milk cartons in the room were slightly past their best before date.

Acceptable Stay with Issues
room noise outdated milk
The car park was easy to access.
The room was quite noisy due to traffic, even with the windows closed. The milk cartons for tea were nearly two months out of date. I found that quite disappointing. The replacement room didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly. I saw dead flies and cobwebs on the window ledges.
